The imprint of the original construction was preserved. With the consolidation of the house, two floors were added, the second being a secluded floor. The original cornice was recovered, restored and reused. The foyer at the entrance was freed from the improvised closures and became an intermediate space again. The decorative elements – columns, arches, balusters, frames, etc. were recovered and used as a template for the new elements. For access, I opted for a corten staircase, minimalist. A new staircase was built inside that connects all four levels. The brick vaults in the basement were cleaned and put to good use.
